Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup granulate sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp salt
For the glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
3 Tbsp milk
1 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In small bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt; set aside.
3. In large mixing bowl, cream 1/2 cupe butter and granulated sugar. Add pumpkin, egg and vanilla to mixture and beat until creamy.
4. Add dry ingredients to wet. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, flatten slightly.
5. Bake 15-20 mins. Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
6. Once cookies are cool, drizzle with glaze.
FOR GLAZE:
1. In small bowl, whisk together 2 cups powdered sugar, 3 Tbsp milk, 1 Tbsp melted butter and 1 tsp vanilla. Add milk as needed.
